"FIRST OF ALL! I've been a customer of State Farm for over 20 years, I transferred to Monty's Office due to his 5.0 Reviews online, I was Amazed of all of the great reviews I had read, so I transferred over to his office the beginning of October. I called his office to talk to an Agent and Antonio answered we went over all of my 7 Policies. I wanted to get a quote on a vehicle I wanted to purchase, he provided me with a quote. We left it at that, then he emails me on the 9th of Oct about the quote and to let him know if and when we wanted to go ahead and purchase the quote, I stated I would let him know and that I had a billing question. No Reply or response from him, still waiting and waiting and no response. Then on October 26th I emailed him again about my billing question I had, and still nothing. So on October 27th I called the office and Ashton answered and I stated that I wanted to talk to Monty the owner and he said he was unavailable so I stated can you write down my information and have Monty call me back and he mentioned that he would be able to call me back in 2 WEEKS, because Monty only works on retirement plans. I was appalled and irritated when he said that I wouldn't be getting a phone call back within a day that I had to WAIT for 2 weeks to talk to the owner of the company. I said Wow, I couldn't believe what I was hearing from the agent. I told him that I will be looking for another State Farm Agent that will make the time to call me back as a loyal customer. If I could rate this review a 0 I would. I felt like I was just a phone call and not a long loyal customer. This was very upsetting! 😡😡😡"

"I switched from Progressive to State Farm and I saved a ton of money! I learned I didn’t have enough coverage on certain things and my agent Ashton Kane was soooo helpful and amazing at explaining everything to me. I have had questions about the new policies and he has been very attentive and knowledgeable! If you are thinking about switching or just getting a quote I would definitely give him a call! "What can I say... State Farm delivers. Dropped my old insurance company after many years in July 2026 (Dallas/Ft. Worth area), found the local State Farm and they took they care of me there!
Now September 2026, a new job offer has me moving me to Idaho - and Monte, Ray and Celeste have lived up to the hype! Smooth transition with adjusting policies, reviewing the process, communication, and setting everythhing up for the move - and into the future.

"Dishonest sales tactics by State Farm agent Ashton.I am writing this to warn anyone considering State Farm to avoid dealing with Ashton. He is an absolute liar who uses deceptive pricing tactics. He explicitly promised a fixed rate over the phone, but the price increased immediately after the policy was finalized. His verbal commitments are untrustworthy and misleading. I do not recommend Ashton to anyone."

"I recently had the unfortunate event of having a cracked front windshield, and dealing with my previous insurance company plus the insane deductible was not a pleasant experience. I decided enough was enough.

My friend introduced me to Ray and he immediately got started on giving me the best plan that suited me. Not only did he run through the math and payment plan, he TOOK THE TIME TO EXPLAIN each important piece of the auto insurance and recommended what was best for me (especially given how cracked front windshields are common in Boise). I never had that experience with other insurance agents which I inquired from.

Definitely would give more than 5 stars for Ray’s stellar advice and assistance 👍"

"I got an email this morning that a payment was due. Payment for what? I don't have a bill. How much and when is it due. This new system STINKS. We have had State Farm for over thirty years. It is tough to think about moving. But, we are being forced into it.

I am more confused with the answer. The point is that there wasn't a bill. On top of that, I did contact corporate. The gentleman told me that the local office issued the bills."

"I've been a long time happy client of the Monte Folsom State Farm agency for multiple years, and have been working with Ray on all of my policies. Ray has been exceptional in taking great care of me and making sure he's always gotten me the best deal on my truck, motorcycle, renters, and life insurance. I can't say enough great things about Ray and this entire office for their exceptional customer service, friendliness, care, and compassion they have for all their clients, and I noticed that immediately on day 1 of visiting this office in person!
